Yes! Anime Iowa 2008!! I love this time of year, even though it's super chaotic hectic.


I've gone to alot of conventions over the years, but Anime Iowa has always been one of my favorites. The artist alley, and the people who run it are always organized and helpful. The people in Iowa are super super nice, so :iconlorbot: and I are really looking forward to next weekend!

As usual we have a table next to Studio Anti Thesis, and we've now gone con hopping with a couple of chain mail and jewelry makers with Achilles' Armory. Good people and some really great stuff.

Oh, that's really good. I really didn't want the rain there to affect your wedding either...

I did the same thing. Then 10 hours the next day, and the next... Love that game. I ran into my bees and my ants beating each other up. I simply had to decide which one to defend. So I built a waterbased garden, and put my bees into it, because they at least can fly over the water. When an ant becomes a resident, I sell it immediately and make money off of it. Then I built a meadowbased garden, and sell whatever bees become resident there. The ants have plenty of walking room there. Depending on which little guy I want to play with, depends on which garden I want to play in....but at least they are killing each other.

We haven't been to any cons yet this year with everything else going on, so I'm really looking forward to ACen! The flooding was all about a half hour away from us, so it didn't really affect us too much. I'm just hoping it won't rain on our wedding day! Even if it does, the minister is a friend of ours, so it can always be moved inside a couple of hours later.

I played Viva Pinata for 10 hours straight the first day I got it!!!! Haven't touched it much since then because I have two critters I like that keep fighting.

Oh yes! ACen is going to be so much fun. I finished issue 2 of Of 2 Minds, and Rainarc is getting a new banner. I want to see how the new comic goes over with people.

Have you hit any conventions this year? Did the flooding effect you much? Is it going to effect your wedding? And have you ever played Viva Pinata?
